Help me with my writing!
A follow up to my last blog about whether or not a character should be turned into a gay male or remain a straight female for purposes of plot.
I decided to go with the gay male character. So, I'm looking for a name for a male skunk. He'll be about a 23-year-old striped skunk (generic, sort of) who is gay, intelligent, a single child to a family of three that tends to move around, his parents are aware of him being gay, [will not be an author avatar], and hasn't had a girlfriend [they've been mean/rude to him] or a boyfriend as he's somewhat shy though not totally socially inept. [No yiff. To those who like that sort of thing: sorry.]
I'm not looking for a name that fits any of these though. I'm looking for something that will relate his purpose in the story: the main character, London, meets him and begins to question whether something was missing in his relationship with his girlfriend that he's being able to find in his relationship with this new skunk. Essentially, London's original feelings and beliefs are challenged with the appearance of this new arrival. I want a name, either gender-neutral or male-oriented, that hopefully has something to do with the way he challenges London's beliefs.
