Aside from looking for one of my friends last night, I haven't been on here in months. Today, bored, I began to puruse the Scent Tree. And suddenly remembered why I left.
We're supposed to be a family guys. We're all different species, genders, sexualities, races, and yes, religions. But we all have something in common: we're ALL part of the furry fandom, and most of us have probably been bullied because of it, or for some other reason.
I think we need to make an unwritten rule that topics like religion should NOT be discussed on the Scent Tree, because it really doesn't seem like anyone is able to talk about it and discuss it rationally without getting upset. I myself admit I am guilty of this.
FN should be a place for us all to come together and support each other, not tear each other down. It kills me to see so many of us turning against our own over things like religion or politics. Please, MAKE IT STOP. We're one big furry family. Can we please, please start acting like it?
