So I tried to get into a hard high school, and I made it. All of my other friends are going to a diffrent one. So during the last couple of weeks I'm just going to throw it out there. I almost did today but... I didn't. I am really well liked at my school, I don't think anyone would unbefriend me or anything like that. So before we go our seperate ways, I figure I should tell SOMEONE. And in case any of you are wondering, I'm 14, in the eighth grade.

Can't come out as a furry, it's not a sexuality and people treating it as such are part of the reason it's so negatively perceived by mainstream society.
Actually, I now define myself as furrysexual or adorasexual; I am just not physically attracted to anyone who isnt furry or adorable. Ive tried. they gotta be one or the other, both is amazing ^.^ sex doesnt really matter.

This is why we can't have nice things.

See, That isn't a sexuality. That is a personality preference. Just like I am only visually aroused by femboys when it comes to males. Doesn't change that my sexuality is Bisexual
in perspective this thread has been the most active thread on the entire general board lately. regardless just because you think this thread is dead doesnt make any of our opinions less valid and doesnt give us any less of a reason to express them :3

If you do tell them, make sure you explain everything about the furry world, a lot of people misinterpret it.
This, 100%. I think most people are alienated because of all the inaccuracies that get spread, though that's also true for most things. People hate and fear what they don't understand, and if they're your good friends I'm certain they'll hear you out and at the very least be indifferent to you being a furry.

In my opinion it does not seem very necessary.
Likewise. "coming out" on anything really seems unnesseccary to me, the first question is "why do they need to know?" and the second is "are you afraid of their reactions?"
