The light grows brighter as a giant, heavily armored worm-like creature emerges from the tunnel. It's mouth opens to reveal a muscular, armored throat and row upon row of short, sharp teeth. His mouth engulfs a large section of concrete and he swallows it. Seconds later, it's insides light up with bright colors, barely visible through the thick hide.

*looks at the worm* there it is. HEY GREEDY WORM! WERE OVER HEAR YOU SLOW WITTED PILE OF CRAP!!! *the worm turns around and heads in the groups direction* so yall want to die here, up top, or relax at my place?

(The worm eats by pulling material into his gut and blowing it up, it has a more effective weapon than a full frontal assault)

The worm seemingly ignores them and ingests a large piece of a pipe that had been severed from the main structure for a long time. Instead of closing it's mouth, it opens it wide and points it at the group. The resulting explosion sends a shockwave down the tunnel.

*do to the distance the shock wave acts more like wind* THAT ALL YOU GOT YOU RUSTY PIECE OF TRASH!!!!

(It is directed, so it's more like sudden pressurization, then decompression of the blast area.)

A massive fireball follows the shockwave, as well as numerous pieces of the pipe.

The worm expels another shockwave, followed by another fireball and no shrapnel.

*I take cover, glad of the well made fabrics in my cloak. Despite this, I still pat myself down in a few singed areas.*
Definitely Aydam... and this means his base must be close, though why we could just walk in before escapes me...
YAUGH!
*Swings at a corner of the tunnel, and a large chunk blows out and hits the worn square behind it's "head." Dashes forward and uses the scythe end to scrape a long, bleeding wound down the length of the beast. Now at the end of the worm, I begin to try and hack away at the "tail" with the front bladed area.*
((Physically strong or stable objects are disrupted by the front blade. It does this by "hammers" inside that take advantage of frequencies to shatter solids. It's not as effective against some living beings, as it was made for structural damage, however, if it hits bone or cartilage, it can easily maim, though this worm seems to be pretty thick... The scythe edge, again I can't remember its effect, I have to look it up in my personal references, but it's made for killing rather than structural damage.))

The worm doesn't even notice the slash up it's side as thin, greenish red tendrils stitch it back together. It begins eating the concrete below it, tunneling down and out of the way.

Well there you have it... Then again, the polearm isn't meant to take on massive things like the worm in an underground setting.))
Ineffective?! Hmm... perhaps I need a different approach...

The worm vanishes down the whole.

As Crimson and the rest go deeper into the tunnels, a faint blue and green light can be seen ahead of them.

A small, dog-like creature emerges from the lights, and trots up to Crimson.

(Think like a Doberman puppy with blue/green flowing stripes down it's back.)

*I run full speed at Hyane, displaced to the side, and run around him 10+ times, whiffing out the flames. I pick him up and approach the dog looking thing.*

*Feels Hyane go limp in my grasp. Watches neck briefly and determines he has a pulse, though weaker than normal.*

The puppy avoids Hyane and trots over to him, licking his face. Strangely the area that the puppy licked begins to heal very rapidly.

The puppy growls at Naco and leaps out of his hands. Quickly, two larger versions of him show up, angrily barking as the puppy trots back to them.

*i get on a knee. my eyes change from red to blue. i opean my paw, as i do the dogs wag there tails and walk over to be petted by me. but my eyes turn back to red. the dogs start growling again.*
