  I hope you know I'm not calling you "Captain..." I will, however, help this crew and ship, so how may I be of assistance? Ryker is managing Engineering for now, as we both have some small knowledge in such things...

  (actually she is trying to keep her cool. she's seen dead people before and she also knows when she has to move on. plus she didnt realy have much of an emotional connection with the old captain.)
