i drift off to sleep & begin to dream. i see a figure. a wolf. i get closer & it's my fiancée amber. "my god, i've missed you so!" "& i you love." i hold her close. "i'll never let you go." her voice begins to distort, almost demonically so. "not even for a kiss?" i pull back & her body is mangled, just like when the semi hit her. her fur is caked in blood, and an eye is hanging. "you should have saved me, koty. you should have been there. why didn't you help me?" the beautiful wolf i knew was gone, replaced by a rapidly decaying corpse. i hear her voice still coming from the mouth of the cadaver. "why?why?why?why?why?why?why?" it's a demonic chant now, multiple voices are screaming it. amber is now a skeleton. i spontaneously combust. i scream, the horror of it all finally sinking in. i wake up, screaming like a banshee. i cry.
