  i then carry the carcass to the back & pour gasoline all over it & the head, which i placed about 20 feet away. after the fresh corpse is sopping wet i throw a match on him & watch him burn.

  (being that close to immortal isn't exactly fair either, dude. at least i will get an infection from the gash on my chest. [i'm assuming you were a komodo dragon.] make a more reasonable character. hell, mine's a badass, but she's not immortal.) i turn around & the diner's on fire. i kick the door in, ready to help anyone inside to get outside.

  (sorry. seemed like the easiest way. & i don't use my gun for anything but catching food when i'm on the run. any coward can pull a trigger, but it takes honor & respect for the enemy to fight face to face.) "i don't know. i'm trying to figure that out for myself."

  (no, wait. i re-read & only sam hadn't left. honest mistake, i swear.) after thoroughly searching for anyone else in the diner, i leap from the window, climbing down the neighboring building's fire escape. i go around front to check on the wolf. "hey! hey, wake up!" i lightly slap him across the face, trying to revive the unconscious wolf.
