You see, he has a wife and children, and he didn't seem as cruel as those around him when we caught him, so I took him in.

Go ahead. I don't smell anything this time... I kept him because I enjoy social experiments occasionally. Besides, some humans are accepting of us once they understand are are quite nice to have around.
*Trausti leaves the room to search for Ted.*
Oh, by the way... that frog that watched all of you for me is named Tedfoot, Ted for short. He's one of the lucky few that have been my apprentice...

No, not horrific deaths... the lucky few that are hand picked by me. It takes a certain set of skills and intelligence to learn my "Profession." Ted has done quite well, his main problem being his speech in English, though he does fine with other languages... I have had a few others in the past, but they have their own lives, or in some cases have died, but not horrifically...
