  Take a deep breath, then exhale slowly.
  *I prep some anesthesia and a put it into her left arm slowly after attaching an IV, and her eyes flutter closed.*
  *I begin to set out some scalpels among other tweezers like tools.*

  *after a bit, I get curious as of why you two left, as I faded out into thought. I begin searching everywhere, and eventually end by journey with the last room I look in* I always thought you were a killer, not a healer.

  It tends to fit this sort of situation... *I begin to make small incisions and cuts on the mask and around it.*

  Adam hears the rifle and immediately recognizes the rifle, a .408. "Shit..." He looks out his window toward the sound with a pair of high-powered binoculars. He picks up a mirror from his nightstand and starts flashing morse code across the distance. "Ally; Armed; Anthro."

  To answer your question... I save who I care about and I kill when I deem necessary threats... though that line has been a bit... blurry lately...

  So I see. *walks over and watches you operate* ...Doc. IF that mask is sterilized and has a filter, wouldn't we need to provide a steady mixture of oxygen and anything else in this air? Surely the mask filters the oxygen differently, and her lungs have grown used to such.

  The filter has been broken for quite some time, which might explain the constant coughing and hacking, though I think her scars may show that there's still some shrapnel stuck in her throat. She did mention something about an explosion. Help me flip her over please, I need to undo some stitches on the back of her head.
  *Opens a trapdoor on the bed and reveals a face pad with a hole.*

  Adam walked into the small kitchen in the apartment and poured himself a glass of JD. He sat down at his computer desk and began decoding the files on the flash drive.

  I have no idea, but I noticed something peculiar earlier...
  *Cuts along stitches on the side of Yolandi's head and a small air sucking noise can be heard. I also cut through some small stitches on the back of her neck with a small surgical scissors.*
  That's strange...
  *I use a series of surgical picks and tweezers to remove...*
  An Implant?
  *I throw it in a small dish and place it in a small machine.*
  That should inhibit any tracking for now...
  Help me flip her back over, please. 1... 2... 3...

  It could be tracking, abilities, whatever. Who knows? *I make a few final cuts and I slowly take the mask off.*
  Huh...
  *I open her mouth slowly and look inside with a flashlight.*
  Aha, I was correct...
  *30 minutes later, the shrapnel from her throat has been removed and her throat and all the incisions have been patched up. I leave the anesthesia in for a few more minutes then I take it out to let her rest.*
  Well that went better than expected. *I smile at Luventius.*

  Uh-huh.... *rubs the bridge of my nose* Ugh...I've never been good with looking inside living things.... Not that blood scares me or anything.
  SO *ehem* What happened, doc? I saw you pull out a bit of metal. Got any leads on the case?
