You did organize the group, didn't ya? It's only fair you are called the group leader. Oh, and we're heading to a clothing store. I hid in a house a couple of blocks away from it, so I HOPE I recall the location.
Yolandi want's some new clothing, so I'm taking her there. I was going to lead her there much earlier, but...you know. Gunfight and all.

....I know I'm talking too much, sir, but what do you see in that human?

I see...
The human? I not quite sure, but I think I singled him out because he was last and we needed to know more about our attackers, but in hindsight, I think he may have some useful qualities. That and I think he sees us differently for some reason.

Yes...no..maybe. *sighs* Isn't that all we are? I've learned while spying around human households that we are mutations. Creatures who are intelligent, unlike their feral counterparts. We were feral once...well...kinda. My parents were half feral, I think...

Oh really, because both my parents were completely human... This means that they're perfecting the technique for manipulation... I was one of the first in a series of tests. It changed what I was, but not who I was, still am. They wanted to experiment with the concept of deeper meaning to see if a person would become the mixed animal if allowed. It was successful to a fault. It worked too well. I killed many of them. I spared a few innocents, but that didn't stop them from passing on the data to others. Their original intentions were to create "super soldiers" or alternatively provide an adaption to be immune to certain viral strains or poisons. They would change themselves, making themselves superior, combining animal instinct, strength, and endurance with human intelligence, thought, and knowledge. From there they could kill off the rest of the human population, creating a single dominant race. Only problem with that is how many potential races one could have... Nonetheless, some experiments, though originally malevolent, took on a more passive role, providing the means to better mankind. Other experiments got out of hand and have proved reckless, like poor Adam. Normal humans shun us because they don't understand us. Some fear us and what we may be capable of, with good reason. They think we are a mutation, something to be contained and killed. We are not a mutation. We are a... development...

I don't remember anything you do bout thosse crazy "experiments." Maybe you've just gone crazy, being out here and all. I have nothing unlike everyone else here. I'm something humans would call "normal", to an extent. I can read, speak, and write Latin, I have a fortified endurance, though that's just me being cocky. And the increased perception is all from my feral parents. How a jackal and puma mated: I haven't the slightest clue. They are both in different continents, is all I know.

...Where are you from anyways, General? How'd you get all the way out here when you could have had it WAY better with the humans. A bit of forced labor / slavery, but nice food and a warm bed, at least. I am just bewildered and mildly upet at the topic....let's just non cogitare de, alright? Gah..I meant "not think about it."

*pulls out a cigarette pack from a leg pouch, offering you one* ....Tu similis? *growls slightly* Would you like one?

I've kept perfect sanity other than my insanity, however, I am not crazed.
That's better, but try a lower rank... I think Captain or Comrade might suit me better...

Those experiments, as I said, I was one of the first, which is why I know more about it... in general at least.

Test subject gone wrong? By all means, no. You were probably not a test subject. Various strains of the virus, though it wasn't before, have been found in many areas. There's a significant amount more anthros than the world thinks. The people who experimented on me never meant for it to be a public "item," though some seem to have managed to spread it like a virus...

Well if this day has taught me anything, it has made me more informed.
I just have one more question....what was earlier about? You said you came back to apologize, in a sense. When did I say something about morals? Earlier this morning, I assume?
