  "I see." She hums, grabbing hold of the branch and yanking it from his arm in one deft movement. Grabbing the stitching kit, she starts to close the sound after cleaning it properly. "Too much movement will possibly break open the stitches, so don't jerk your arm, or suddenly for that matter." She says with a nod.

  She starts to say something in protest, but her stomach growls loudly. "Ah.. Sure. If you were going to kill me, then you would have all ready." She mumbles. "I realize I haven't eaten for a few weeks." She says with an apologetic chuckle.

  "then you're in luck. i brought about a week's supply of food. mostly non-perishable items. doritos, canned pasta, the like. but if you like, i could make venison chili. i caught a deer last night, but i'll share. eye for an eye, right?"

  Her tail moves in a swaying motion, all most as if it were wagging slightly. "Sounds perfectly fine with me. If you need help with anything though, don't hesitate to ask." She says with a slight smile.

  "ok, will do." i cut the deer from the tree & cut the meat into strips. i put it in a pot along with some mustard, hot sauce, apple barbecue sauce, & bacon & brown sugar baked beans. i light a fire & let it cook. "if you know any other survivors, you're all welcome to stay with me. it's pretty safe here & hell, there's safety in numbers. food & water are plentiful, & the scenery is amazing. but i'm nocturnal, so if any of you aren't, please let me sleep. if i don't, i get mean."

  "I know what you mean. There are fifteen others in a camp about ten miles or so from here. We were attacked. Of we hadn't been, then there would still be twenty five." She sighs. "I'm sure I can set up another camp not too far from here. Half a mile maybe?" She says, all ready planning out the structures in her head.

  "I'm sure they'd be grateful." She says, grabbing her bowl, not really bothering to use a utensil, using her forked tongue to fish out the strips of meat, nearly spearing a couple. "Thanks again for the meal." She says with a slight smile. "I appreciate it." She drinks the rest of the broth, setting the bowl down as if to ask for more.
