  heh good luck for that! the ones infected, i don't think that they will ever be the same, even if you manage this mythical cure. just shadows of themselfs *covers our back so no zombie can sneek up on us, making sure i still have my sword*

  i silently walk through the hospital. 'voices? here? odd... better remain as hidden as i can until i can tell if they're friend or foe. i do however need shelter for the night. a bed in the icu should do. i should take care of any bodies first.' i squeeze the handles of the katara & stand over a body. i put the 2 blades on either sides of the neck. after a pause to be sure it's not a survivor, i release the handles, effectively decapitating the cadaver. i continue to do this until all the bodies in & around the icu are beheaded. i lay on a gurney, hand on the hilt of my sword. 'this won't run out of ammo. not until i breathe my dying breath.

  (me? not really. i always fantasized about a zombie apocalypse, & i decided if it does happen, i'll carry mostly bladed weapons for that very reason.)

  i hear noises, 'shit.' i pull a sheet over my head & hold my breath. i then decide i can't hide forever. 'fuck it.' i get up & strike a defensive stance, katana drawn. i clench my teeth, expecting the worst.

" " is out loud. don't matter too much though.) i sheath my sword, wary of the stranger. i reply while keeping my distance, "i'm damian. i intend to rest here for the night & stock up on supplies. but only if i'm welcome here. i see you have already made this your barracks."
