the basic rule is that you are a mage who picks a servant from one of 10 classes to help you kill all the other servants so that you can attain the star of asaroth. A holy vessel capable of granting any one wish. To win you need only eliminate all other masters servants, though killing the master will consequently destroy their servant. Servant classes are as follows.
Saber (the sword user)
Archer (the ranged fighter)
Lancer (the lance user)
Assassin (the silent killer class)
Rider (the riding class)
Caster (the master mage class)
Comander (the class of famous generals)
Fighter (the jack of all trades class)
Beast master (the tamer of animals)
and Berserker (the mad class, berserkers have no sanity and are incapable of independent action, they do however get a boost to all stats and are a powerhouse of mana)
Your job is to asist your servant and provide them with mana, though the level of most attack spells you will use will not likely provide serious damage to servants, they can be used as distractions, and against the masters. To help you win these battles you are given 3 command seals. These will force your servant to do whatever you say, as long as they are physically capable, even if it is against their will.
All servants also have what is know as a noble phantasm, this ability or weapon is their most powerful attack, but in most cases gives away their identity (as these heroes are all famous heroes of the past)

(idk if i have posted this or not but this is how gameplay will work.
1. Servant master interaction will take place between and the master via pm
2. city wandering and fights will take place here in the forrums
3. private duels will take place in a 3 way message between the 2 combatatants with them controling thier servants. me acting as a referee
4. strategy meetings will take place much like private duels between all coaberators and mysef there to supervise the logic.

(to the masters of Saber, Beast Master, and Assassin; pm me asap or i will have to wind up reopening your servants to new members. also as of today, there are novacancies in the game, all character positions have been filled, however this is open to change should people drop out before things get too deep)
