  I want to start drawing, but my drawings are really bad. =\ I just want some advice, including:

   

  ~What programs you use

  ~Methods of drawing

  ~Coloring

  ~Any other help!

   

  I'll probably be doing digital... any help is appreciated. =)

  I agree that Photoshop is a great program, (I prefer to use it myself), but it also expensive. Paint Tool Sai is a great alternative, (full version only costs $50 or so), and it has really smooth linework in comparison to photoshop.
  
  As for methods, ahh... I use a tablet when I draw, but using in program tools like the pen tool are another good alternative to using the mouse.
  
  The way I like to color is hard to explain, but I try to treat it like I am painting with acrylics? Layering colors and shades and whatnot.
  
  I am far from being a great artist, but if you want any advice I would be glad to help!

  ^I agree, paint tool sai is a much better program for lineart, photoshop is lovely for the effects etc. it has, but for that crisp clean lineart you'll probably like paint tool sai a lot better.
  I use a wacom intuos tablet and I highly suggest you get one if you're into doing a lot of digital art.
  Um as far as coloring goes, I would go on deviantart and look up the various tutorials for your kind of style there. (cell shading painting etc. etc.)

  this is all paintool sai, its simpler than photoshop, but make sure you watch some youtube videos about the program, because both programs are not the best to start out with if you have had no experience with the basics. If you are just just starting, I would (at least this is what I did) was use corel painter for its trial until I got used to basics before I jumped into bigger programs so that you know if this is something that is good for you, and your not completely lost and intimidated by the program.
