He created free will because he wants followers and children who love Him because they want to, unfortunately with free will you also have to create evils and other choices, otherwise there is no choice and no free will.

But God himself created evil. There are those who say it was Satan who created evil, but who created the possibility for evil to be created? (With that being said, evil existed even before Satan rebelled against God.)

I agree, Satan didn't "create" evil, he's just come to embody it in our reality. Where there's good there's always some evil, we just aren't told what it was before the fall, or Satan because it's not really relevant to our current existance. :P
(though I often wish stuff like that was in the Bible. I want to know more details about pre-creation, and what goes on in the celestial realm.) less
