1. what is your fursona? Blue, a dog of some vague breed
2. what does it look like? colors, etc She is tan with one blue spot over her left eye and blue on her left paw.
3. why that fursona?
I draw her all the time, I figured she might as well represent me!
4. when did you feel a connection to it?
When my sister died. She had two dogs that she loved dearly and for a while my dog's design greatly resembled them. I'd been drawing them for quite a while but after she died, when I'd draw Blue it felt like I could be closer to her somehow.
5. when did you feel you were a 'furrie'?
Honestly I'm not even sure how one feels "furry". I feel normal but on the internet I represent myself with a chubby little dog or anthro version of that same chubby little dog, that's about it. Though I must admit, I do enjoy how affectionate and kind furry communities can be such as FN.
6. what does being a furrie mean to you?
I suppose it means loving animals and being able to relate to them and being able to relate to others who relate to animals.
7. what would you say is most important in meeting other furries?
Being open-minded and kind if you expect to receive the same treatment from them, I guess.8. when interacting with others, do you envision them as their fursona or just another person on a computer?
Some people I do think of as their fursonas. One of my close friends is a furry and I find it hard to think of him as anything but a black and white little dog since he uses it to represent himself so much.9. have you ever been to a convention?
Anime conventions yet, furry -- no but I am not opposed to the idea.
10. if so, what did you do there?
Bought expensive things and met with (non-furry) internet friends.
11. how much time do you spend in your fursona?
Like how much do I spend acting/pretending to be my fursona? Well I would suppose constantly because I don't act any different. Sure I use different mannerisms but it's still me through-and-throguh.
12. does your significant other participate or is aware of this fursona?
Yes. We kind of discovered my furriness together.
13. how did they react?
He doesn't see me any different. He's a bit of a furry himself, or at least he enjoys drawing anthromorphic characters as much if not more than I do. I don't think it has the same meaning for him as it does for me but how often does that happen?
14. how active are you with other furries?
Trying to become more active. I'm an avid artist so I'm always looking for people who'd like a drawing of their fursona, so I can improve and challenge myself.15. if you could, would you become your furrie in 'real life'?
Probably not. I hardly think of her as anthro, I think of her more as a little chubby dog most of the time. That being said, while I love dogs but I don't really want to become one uvu
16. when did you first hear the term furrie?
When I first met my friend (mentioned in question 8), my friends at the time warned me not to associate with him because he was a furry and talked about all the stereotypical furry things: sex in fursuits, sex with animals, pretending to be a dog, etc. We began talking regardless and when I asked him about him being furry he explained what it meant to him and I felt a lot less apprehensive about it and we became good friends.
17. do you own a fursuit or plan to?
I don't own one and I can't really justify spending all that money for one at this time but I don't think I would be against getting a partial suit one day.
18. **very personal** do you have sexual fantasies as your fursona?
19. what led you to this site?
Just looking for some like-minded friends uvu
20. since joining this site, what have you learned about yourself?
Not much that I didn't know already. However I will say I've gained a little confidence in my art, since I've gotten positive reactions to art I've done for other people :)
